Nashville’s annual Songposium is this September. It’s a Pro Coach event where the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) pulls together all of their national top “Pro Coaches” for a week of workshops plus “writers in the round” performances every night at the famous Bluebird.

I have been their Vocal Pro coach since the beginning, but this year won’t be able to be there. I’ll be there next year,though. I highly recommend everyone looking into this event! Check it out! NSAI http://www.nashvillesongwriters.com

At the Recording Arts Academy and Austin Music Foundation mixer, I ran into Casey Monahan who I haven’t seen since we were in Cannes, France at the international music convention, MIDEM! Can’t wait to meet with him again and see what’s up for Texas music!

Austin music foundation mixer with the Recording Arts Association

Jun 25, 2010. I met wonderful Austin artists, musicians, recording engineers, producers and “powers that be” at the Austin Music Foundation and Recording Arts Association’s mixer at the Belmont Hotel. Formerly NARAS, the Texas Recording Arts Chapter is associated with the Grammys.
